Remembering Phil Whitfield
It was with great sadness to learn of the sudden passing of longtime Cowboys staff member and dear friend, Phil Whitfield. Phil began his career at Texas Stadium in 1993 where he served as a security guard at both Texas Stadium and AT&T Stadium, along with an important role with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. A Visit with America’s Heroes
America’s Sweethearts visit America’s Heroes Each February, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders honor American Veterans during the “National Salute to Veteran Patients”. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and former Dallas Cowboys Kenny Gant, Timmy Newsome and Jim Jeffcoat are continuing this 30-year Cowboys tradition by visiting America’s Heroes at four VA Medical Centers in North Texas.
