WHAT INSPIRES YOU? Touching others’ lives inspires me to be the best version of myself. There is no grater gift than giving to others and seeing people’s lives change because of the impact you left on them. I am grateful my parents are a prime example of this!

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT? Coffee!

DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS? I regret not being on a college dance team! Back in high school I always dreamed of being on a dance team but back then, I was scared of change and making leaps of faith. I wanted to dance with my hair down more than anything, but I was comfortable with it in a ballet bun.

BIGGEST MOTIVATION? My biggest motivation is wanting to help my parents as much, if not more, than they helped me growing up. They fought so hard to make things happen for me and I am motivated by getting to a point in my life where I can give back to them!!

DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS? Two ADORABLE dogs, Tuffy and Oreo…and hopefully a golden retriever soon!!

BEACH OR MOUNTAIN VACATION? BEACH.

DESCRIBE A PERFECT DAY IN YOUR LIFE: Starting with a workout, then a nap, then hangout at the pool or beach, make a homemade meal, and finish the day with popcorn and a movie!

HOW DO OTHERS DESCRIBE YOU? Hard working, welcoming, and an introverted extrovert.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HIDDEN TALENTS? Golf…still a work in progress but the first time I tried it, I surprised a lot of people this this unknown talent

WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I grew up focusing on ballet from when I was 4 until I was about 20. During that time I attended Juilliard, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Hubbard street dance Chicago. When I was 17, I was asked to be an apprentice with Eugene Ballet Company where I toured doing over 30 shows of Nutcracker and three other productions during the season. During covid, I had a major shift in my dance career. I was so intrigued by pro dance style and was interested in a style that would challenge me in comfortable ways. After training by myself and on zoom for two years, I was blessed with the opportunity to be on the Warriors Dance Team. I grew so much as a dancer in my one season there and built up the confidence and courage to audition for DCC for a third time! I like to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? To put it simply, I have always looked up to the girls on DCC. I never pictured myself here because it was not my style, but I always knew that they were America’s Sweethearts and dreamed of getting to be on that field. I had convinced myself for so long that I could not do pom style that auditioning never crossed my mind until I met Rhonda Malkin. Once she had showed me that I could have a chance, my whole world turned upside down. My bun head self never thought she would/could be dancing with some of the sweetest, most talented girls out there. My audition process is so special to me because I have never put so much hard work into making a dream come true!

WHAT DO YOU ANTICIPATE MOST DURING YOUR ROOKIE SEASON AS A DCC?  I look forward to having 35 sisters that are there for me. I have never had such an amazing support system before and I truly feel like I matter every day I walk into practice. Rookie season will definitely not be easy physically or mentally, but I feel confident that I will still succeed because of the women I am surrounded with. I truly can not wait to cheer on America’s team and represent such an amazing organization!

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: I am proud at how hard I worked for making this team. I saw every “no” as a “not yet” and trusted that the timing was meant to be. I continued to work and challenge myself beyond what I thought I could do. I made my wildest dream come true…WOW.

IN 10 YEARS FROM NOW I WILL Be inspiring my family to not give up. As cheesy as it sounds, giving up does nothing for you as a human. You must challenge yourself otherwise there is no growth happening. I will hopefully have a little dancer that I can help enjoy the ride of a lifetime. I will definitely have a golden retriever and spoil him! Lastly, I will be an advocate for mental health. I want to find ways to have the conversation of mental health feel normal. I want it to be an on going conversion, not a conversation you have once it becomes too late.
