Throughout my time at Danceology, I competed and trained for competitions and intensives all around the world, traveling to places like Mexico City and Canada! I then went on to get my Bachelor’s degree in Dance at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I focused my training in Ballet and modern. I also was apart of the UCSB self coached dance team all 4 years where we competed and performed on game days!
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I decided to audition for DCC because it has been a lifelong dream of mine. I am driven by my passion for dancing and performing and DCC represents the pinnacle of performance on one of the largest stages in the world. The opportunity to be a part of that is incredibly exciting. I’ve always admired DCCs, not just for their dancing and skill, but for the inspiring women they are. They embody strength, dedication, and grace, and I’ve looked up to them for as long as I can remember. I love that the women represent tradition and continue to craft a legacy that will be remembered for a long time. Being a part of this team would not only fulfill a personal dream but also allow me to join a community of incredible individuals who motivate and uplift each other.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC? Take as many dance classes as you can in all styles of dance! But also, if you are unfamiliar with the DCC style, try your best to come to prep classes or to the intensive to familiarize yourself with the style. Lastly, be confident! A lot of the audition process becomes a mental challenge and it’s all about your mindset and how you carry yourself throughout! Be yourself and trust in your training and who you are as a person!

FINISH THIS STATEMENT: When I look back on my life…I want to know that I lived every moment to the fullest and loved everyone around me the hardest! I want to ensure I did everything I could possibly do to share the light of Jesus and impact others.
