WHAT FAMOUS PERSON (DEAD OR ALIVE) WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH & WHY?  Definitely Tate McRae. She’s such an inspiring figure, and we’re close in age with similar interests, which makes her journey even more relatable. What I admire most about her is how down-to-earth and hardworking she remains despite her success. I’d love to ask her about the ups and downs of her journey — how she stayed balanced, what kept her grounded, and how she built her career. I think there’s so much wisdom she could share, and it would be amazing to connect with someone I look up to on so many levels.

WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?  I started dancing at age two and entered the competitive dance world by ten. Over the years, I won regional and national titles in New Zealand and Australia, but my greatest successes came when I competed in the United States. I trained in styles including contemporary, lyrical, jazz, commercial jazz, and acro, and I also competed in cheerleading as a flyer.  After establishing myself as a competitive dancer, I transitioned into the professional world, performing with various companies. At 20, I secured my first international contract, performing onboard a major cruise line for nearly a year.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?  Auditioning for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders felt like the perfect opportunity to bring together everything I love about performing. Funny enough, people said, “Faith, you never mentioned wanting to be a DCC!” But for me, it was one of those dreams that always seemed out of reach — growing up in New Zealand and living in Australia, I never thought I’d actually get the chance.
The more I watched their performances, the more I felt drawn to the strength, unity, and excellence they represent. It’s not just about dancing — it’s about sisterhood, energy, and being part of something iconic. I’ve always pushed myself to chase big goals, and joining DCC felt like the perfect next step. It’s a place where I knew I could grow, be challenged, and be inspired — while doing what I love alongside a team of incredible women.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?  Be yourself. It can be easy to compare yourself to others, but the DCC is looking for individuals who bring something unique to the team. Own your personality and what makes you different. Also, remember that hard work can take you further than talent alone. Stay consistent, stay focused, and trust that your efforts will pay off.
Don’t stress too much — what’s meant for you won’t pass you by. Enjoy the journey, and have fun along the way. When you’re enjoying yourself, your light shines the brightest!

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO DURING THIS FIRST YEAR AS A DCC?  I’m most excited about performing and doing what I love alongside my new sisters. And as an Aussie, I cannot wait to experience my first Thanksgiving game — it’ll be so special!

FINISH THIS STATEMENT: “WHEN I LOOK BACK ON MY LIFE”…
I’ll see years of hard work, determination, and a girl who never gave up on her dreams. Every training session, every challenge, every goal I set for myself led me here. Most of all, I’ll see someone who stayed true to her passion, trusted the process, and created a life full of purpose and joy. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for all that’s still to come.
