I also have a guinea pig named Teddy. 🙂
WHO IS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE? While they are both so incredibly selfless, humble and loving people, both of my parents are tied for this one in different ways! My mom is easily the most genuine and kind person I have ever met. I do not think I have ever met someone as positive as she is. She inspires me to be loving and caring to everyone I meet, to always stay grounded and to truly just be someone who is charismatic, kind and compassionate. My dad is the most driven and motivated person I know. He has the most incredible work ethic and knows how to be a leader, yet still gain immense respect from everyone in his field all while being the funny, kind and empathetic. He inspires me to never give up, always believe in myself and to be someone that I know he would be proud of.

WHAT IS ONE THING MOST PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I was in a back brace for 7 years! For 23 hours per day for 3 years and 12 hours per day for 4 years. I have Scoliosis and I was lucky enough to have it caught when I was just 7 years old. In order to try to prevent surgery, I had to wear my large and stiff brace everyday for those 7 years.
DO YOU HAVE ANY NICKNAMES? Char, Char Char, CharBar, pretty much anything with “Char” in it 🙂
WHAT FAMOUS PERSON (DEAD OR ALIVE) WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH & WHY? I would love to have a sit down dinner with Kobe Bryant. I think he is one of the most inspirational people with the biggest heart. I would love to talk to him all about his career and his values in life and commend him for inspiring me so much!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY? Every single Christmas I’ve ever had! As an only child, my parents made it super magical for me. When I think back to my childhood, those memories of coming out into the living room to see the tree every morning in December, seeing what Santa left on Christmas Day, and making cinnamon rolls for breakfast will always make me smile. I am lucky that my parents and I still treat Christmas time this exact same way, which is truly why I love it so much!
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR SUPERPOWER? I would love to be able to teleport! I have so many special people in my life that live in completely different states that I would love to be able to see whenever I want! I also have so many places that I love that I would want to experience going to more! If I could visit all of my high school best friends, college best friends and all my family, in one day that would be so cool!!
WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I started dancing when I was 2 years old! I began taking dance very seriously when I was 8. I grew up at Xtreme Force Dance Company in Livermore, CA and I spent 16 years at that studio that I will forever call home! After graduating high school, I became a part of the Arizona State University Dance Team for 2 years where I got to cheer at games, find my love for being a part of a team and compete at UDA Nationals where we placed third in the nation. I then got the opportunity to join Shannon Mather’s “Bridge Into the Industry” program where I trained under her and her amazing staff for a year in Los Angeles, getting to experience what the dance industry in LA is like. After graduating from there, I finished my senior year of college back in Arizona where I was a part of the “AZ Aces Worlds Team” and got to compete at The Dance Worlds. I then auditioned for DCC after graduating college, made it until the very last cut of training camp in 2023, and then moved to Dallas quickly after to train for the upcoming season. Now the rest is history 🙂
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? Pretty much ever since I could talk I would tell everyone that I was going to be a professional dancer when I grew up. I knew in my heart that that would come true one day. After graduating, I knew I had so much love for being on a team and that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders were the ultimate goal. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders embody everything that I constantly strive to be; influential, extremely inspiring, kind, professional, hardworking, talented, humble, uplifting and so much more. I truly believe DCC carries the most down to earth and genuine group of dancers and women I have ever met. Mixing that with the level of talent and love that I have for dance, I knew there was nowhere else I would rather be.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC? This is my favorite question ever! NEVER ever ever give up!!! If becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is your dream, do absolutely everything you can in your power to be prepared and confident. Train as hard as you can, stay true to yourself, and BELIEVE in yourself. Your mind is the most powerful thing during this process and keeping yourself grounded and confident will take you so far. Be exactly who you are because they will love you for that and always remember that a “no” does not mean never!! It truly feels like a dream, but I promise you can make it a reality for yourself. Just believe in it, train and work hard.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO DURING THIS FIRST YEAR AS A DCC? Being able to spend every day with my best friends I think takes the cake!! But also being able to cheer in the electrifying AT&T Stadium with the best fans in the world. Every time I get to put the uniform on, it is a reminder to me of how lucky I truly am. Getting to dance every single day with the most amazing organization and people is what I am most excited for.
FINISH THIS STATEMENT: When I look back on my life…. I am incredibly proud of the little girl who grew into someone she would have idolized. I feel that many parts of my life are a true testament to everything happens for a reason and it is all in God’s timing. I am proud of all that I have accomplished this far and it makes me so so excited for the future to come!
