WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I danced at Ballet Tucson from the ages of 3-14 years old, where I studied Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop. While growing up I was accepted into summer programs with American Ballet Theater Austin, ABT Orange County, School of American Ballet, Joffrey Ballet. I was also on Salpointe Catholic High School Pomline and University of Arizona Pomline.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I saw two of my teammates and one former pommie from Arizona Pomline go on and achieve their dreams of becoming a DCC. I also have been watching the DCC since my freshman year of college. Once my college coach started talking to me more about the DCC, I started to research them more and fell in love. Not only do I love the fact that the DCC get to dance and cheer on the best team in the NFL, I also love how involved they are in community. That drew me in even more.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? The best thing about being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is being able to inspire others. Whether it’s inspiring someone to get out in their community more, try out for your dream team or even wearing your hair natural, like I am this year. Knowing that you are a role model and someone looks up to you, is the best part about being a DCC because you have that ability to change someone’s life for the better and they will carry that with them forever.
