DCC ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT – BETHANY TYLER TINDERHOLT
Bethany Tinderholt was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for two incredible seasons and still stays involved today. She was a part of show group during her second year and got the pleasure of traveling for a USO tour. She spoke of this tour as being one of the most memorable experiences of her life! During her time with the Cowboys, she was also able to appear on Saturday Night Live and be there to witness the acceptance of the Spirit of Hope Award in New York City- a monumental moment in DCC history. It’s crazy what you can experience in just two years!
Bethany has now transitioned to helping with DCC auditions every year. She is a very valued and involved member of the alumni, and the first face that I saw when I came to audition. The audition process has remained mostly the same, she said, with an exception of the interviews. When she auditioned, the interviews were one-on-one with Kelli Finglass. She mentioned she liked that the panel interviews can allow more people to get to personally meet and evaluate the candidates.
By nature, Bethany is such a positive, encouraging, and bright spirit. Her smile lights up a room, and she has intelligence to match. I asked her for her best advice, and it was to maintain your humility and appreciate everything. It is clear to everyone that meets her that she lives by these principles in her daily life. Since being with the Cowboys, she has gotten married, had two beautiful children, and become the Executive Director of the Arlington Police Foundation where she helps to raise money to fund supplies for Arlington police officers. Bethany is yet another example of a DCC alumni doing incredible things in the world and giving back to her community. It was such a pleasure getting to know Bethany! Knowing that we share such a special bond in this organization and that I get to follow in the footsteps of an amazing and accomplished woman like her makes me so incredibly thankful that DCC brought us together!
