WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I began dancing at a studio as a kid. In high school, I danced with and led my teammates on the drill team as a Lieutenant and Captain. After high school, I performed as a Kilgore College Rangerette for 2 years. During that time, I served as Right Middle Officer and was a part of Industry Dance Company within my college‘s dance department.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I wanted to step out of my comfort zone while continuing to push myself as a person and performer! Given all of the talent that has come through this organization, I knew this was a place I could do that. I also wanted to be a part of a group of like minded women who inspire and give back to their community.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? Being in community and sisterhood with women who are genuinely supportive, hardworking, and goal oriented. I‘m truly blessed to be involved in this experience that’s brought so many incredible people into my life.
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Besides making this team and the amazing experiences that have come with it…giving my life to the Lord is something I’ll always be thankful that I did.
