WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?

I started dancing at the age of 14 through a studio in Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Pointe. In High School I was selected as a member of the Midlothian HS Pantherettes drill team for 4 years. My Sophomore year I was selected to serve as a lieutenant, and my Junior and Senior year, I had the honor of being of Captain. After high school, I attended Kilgore College where I was chosen as a member of the prestigious Kilgore College Rangerettes. After my Freshman year,  I was selected as Lieutenant for my Sophomore year. I was also a member of Industry Dance Company through the dance department at Kilgore College.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?

Ever since a young age the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders always inspired me to be the best version of myself! The passion and love I have for entertaining is what has driven me to this point! What an honor it would be to have the opportunity to pour my heart and soul into an organization that also has the love and dedication to pour back into me! The DCC organization is true excellence. It gives me such pride to continue my career performing for the world with amazing women to create a true Cowboys experience! And what a dream it is to be a part of America’s Team and hopefully give another little girl the same inspiration I felt  to go after their dreams!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? The DCC Organization holds itself on tradition, hard work, and sisterhood and those are huge key factors in my life! I think it is so special to have the opportunity to honor those Cheerleaders, Directors, and others who have built the foundation of America’s Sweethearts, and to continue the beautiful legacy. Everyone is so supportive, encouraging, and strives to be the best version of not only themselves, but as a team! It is truly so inspiring to dance alongside such impactful women and build a strong community that is an outlet to the dance/entertainment world, and the empowerment of women as a whole!!

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: My proudest accomplishment is having represented the United States and Texas in two different countries as a Rangerette! Performing in England at the Birmingham International Tattoo and in the US at The Virginia International Tattoo. These two events brought all different cultures, and performers to one show. Uniting as one, showcasing our artistry as performers was truly such a magical experience!

IN 10 YEARS FROM NOW I WILL Be a HAPPY studio owner/dance instructor with a wonderful, loving family….and bulldog! 🙂
