WHAT INSPIRES YOU? My mom inspires me more than I can even begin to explain. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2020 and has been fighting with such strength, optimism, and faith ever since. She inspires me to live each day to the fullest and never take the little things for granted.
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT? I cannot live without music! I need something to dance to and it always puts me in a great mood!
DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS? No, I truly believe everything happens for a reason!
BIGGEST MOTIVATION? My biggest motivation is thinking how proud my younger self would be of all the things I have accomplished.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS (IF SO LIST NAMES)? I have a rescue dog named Theo back in Washington!
BEACH OR MOUNTAIN VACATION? Beach. I grew up without warm sunny beaches, so I never take a beach day for granted!
DESCRIBE A PERFECT DAY IN YOUR LIFE: It would be a sunny day in Washington playing corn hole outside with my family. My grandpa and I make a dynamic duo!
HOW DO OTHERS DESCRIBE YOU? I think others would describe me as loving, genuine, and kind.
DO YOU HAVE ANY HIDDEN TALENTS? I can sing all 50 states in alphabetical order.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS? I have an older sister, Bobbi, who is 3 years older than me and has always been my best friend and role model.
NAME 5 GUESTS AT YOUR DINNER PARTY: Michelle Obama, Zendaya, Sue Bird, Reese Witherspoon, and Simone Biles
WHAT IS THE THEME SONG OF YOUR LIFE? I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston
WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I started dancing when I was 3 years old, began competing when I was 7, and was on the University of Washington’s Dance Team for 4 years.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I decided to audition for DCC because it is such a respectable organization made up of talented, humble, and inspiring women. I also cheered with DCC Cici’s younger sister Alia in college and hearing about her journey inspired me to try out!
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: My proudest accomplishment was being voted Most Outstanding Senior on my college dance team by my sweet teammates.
IN 10 YEARS FROM NOW I WILL… look back at my time as a DCC and be so thankful I took a leap of faith by trying out for this incredible team!
