DESCRIBE A PERFECT DAY  IN YOUR LIFE: Wake up, take a barre class, grab some coffee, make a yummy pancake breakfast. Then go on a walk with a friend or go shopping. Pick out a cute outfit, get ready, chat with my family with dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and finish the night with frozen yogurt!

DO YOU HAVE ANY HIDDEN TALENTS? I’ve recently struck up a love for graphic design. Each game we have a “GAMEDAY SHEET” that includes our game day itinerary, a packing list, and important information that prepares us for the game. I was put in charge of creating the game day sheet last year, and now it’s something I get so excited to do.

WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?

Childhood: I started dancing when I was 2 years old. I loved taking dance classes growing up, but I wasn’t serious about dance until middle school. That’s when I really focused on ballet, and dance technique.

High School: I was on my high school dance team all four years, and was Captain my senior year. We danced at football games, basketball games, and state dance competitions. On the weekends I would take extra ballet classes to continue training.

College: In college, I danced for the University of Notre Dame Pom Squad. We performed at football pep-rallies, basketball games, and other campus events. I was co-captain my senior year & absolutely LOVED being a “pommie”.

Post-Grad: My senior year in college, I committed to getting “audition ready” for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I auditioned in May of 2017, and I made it to Training Camp. Although I was cut, I stayed in Dallas, trained, made incredible friends, and then came back to make the team in 2018!

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I honestly never thought I would dance professionally. But once I went to college and saw friends retire from dance… I knew I couldn’t live without it. Plus, the Cowboys organization is incredible, and I just had to be a part of the magic! If you’re going to dream, DREAM BIG!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? The sisterhood…hands down! I have met my very best friends because of DCC, and everything is more precious when you share it with the ones you love!

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Making the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders! When I first auditioned, I didn’t know anyone on the team, or anyone who lived in Texas. It was very out of my element, but it was a dream I wanted to achieve. However, the reason it is my proudest accomplishment is because I faced adversity and came back. When I was first cut, I was so embarrassed that I “failed”. But that year was when I met my best friends, learned valuable life lessons, and grew as a dancer and person. It is something I wouldn’t trade for the world!

IN 10 YEARS FROM NOW I WILL Be missing the sidelines and wondering how I ever did a jump-split!
