WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I have been dancing since I was 2 years old, competing in regional and national dance in the styles of ballet, lyrical, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip-hop. In high school, I enjoyed competing on my high school dance team, where I served as captain my last two years. Upon entering college, I joined the Cal Poly Dance Team which allowed me to dance and cheer at football and basketball games, as well as compete at College Dance Nationals. I was also a part of the Cal Poly Dance Minor Program and Orchesis Dance Company, both allowing me to take classes on a daily basis, work with guest choreographers and perform pre-professional concerts each January. Last season, I was honored to be the 2nd leader for Group 4 led by Tess. I’m blessed to be back on the field season for my 4th veteran season this year.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I wanted to share my passion for performing with 35 incredibly talented individuals while representing the greatest brand in all of sports. It is a privilege to have this incredible platform to spread cheer, raise awareness, and interact with fans all around the world as an ambassador for America’s Team.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? There is no better joy in life than to share what you love to do with others who love it just as much! The sisterhood my teammates and I share is unlike any other, and I’m blessed to be able to touch the lives of fans around the world with them by my side!
